Fort Kochi: It is a seaside town in the south-western part of Kochi, which is known for its old-world colonial charm. Because of the influence of so many European cultures, this place is great for a heritage walk. Surely, you will not be disappointed.
Chinese Fishing Nets: Locally known as Cheena Wala, the they are quite popular sight to witness around the beaches of Kochi. Technically, these nets are fixed near from the shore, which are used through mechanical contrivance from across a distance of about 20 metres across.
The Mattancherry Palace: It is one of the finest examples of the Kerala style of architecture mixed with colonial influences. It is notable for some of the best mythological murals in India, which are in the best traditions of Hindu temple art. Over the centuries, the influence of the Portuguese were supplanted by the Dutch, who they took over Mattancherry in 1663.
Paradesi Synagogue: The Paradesi Synagogue, which is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth Nations, is located in Kochi. Constructed in 1568, it is one of seven synagogues of the Malabar Yehudan or Yehudan Mappila people or Cochin Jewish community in the Kingdom of Cochin.
Princess Street: It is also known as Loafer’s Corner and is widely hailed as among the oldest locations in Kochi, which is why it is often loved by tourists. The influence of colonial heritage is strong here as you can see numerous homes and buildings on both sides of Princess Street that have European architectural styles, mainly British, Dutch and Portuguese.

After Breakfast, proceed towards a lagoon resort in Alleppey. Kochi to Alleppey is about
50 Km or 30 miles and takes about 2 hours. Its always a great fun and an amazing experience to stay in a lagoon resort. You can do a lot of things here.
Village Walk: A Walk in an Indian village can be so much fun as well as a great learning experience of how people live here. Of course, there will be a guide to take you all along the narrows roads adjoining the lagoons and some that goes deeper inside. Fishing: Really, fishing can be a lot of fun. There are water bodies in the form of lagoons all around. Some of the fishes that you can expect to catch are Pearl Spot, Viral, Catfish, Shrimps, Tiger Prawns, Lobsters, Mallet, Thilopia, Crab.
Canoeing: Many guests opt for “country boat” tours or canoe trips to villages along the narrower Kerala backwaters You can stop on any shore and may be drink fresh coconut water. No doubt, this is one of the best ways to experience the backwaters. It is typically a 3 to 4 hour activity.
Sunset Cruise: Sunset in the lagoons is something that you must try. In fact, the beauty and uniqueness of this experience is the silhouette of the distant coconut trees, huts and villagers, not to mention the glittering lagoon waters.

You can see the villagers in action as they take their humble bicycle out. The lotus blooms at some places. You will also find someone selling coconut right beside the lagoon.
