Varkala Beach and Lighthouse

Ponmudi is a hill station near Varkala. If you want to want to visit some nice small hamlets in a hill station. Ponmudi is the place. Poovar Island

Poovar is a beautiful island, which is surrounded by river called Neyyar. The place is known for the tranquility. Unlike other beaches around, this is not crowded. Veli Tourist Village

The Veli Tourist Village, which lies where the Veli Lake meets the Arabian Sea, provides for unique boating and picnicking opportunities. It consists of a large garden on the southern banks of Veli lagoon. As you would notice, a floating bridge connects this garden to the Veli beach.
