Kovalam Beach

Kovalam Beach in Trivandrum is one of the most famous beaches in India. It is known for the golden sands and a lighthouse on one end, which is an unique feature to this beach. There are lots of shacks and restaurants on the Kovalam Beach, where you can relax. There are a number of resorts also on the beach, where you can book during your trip to Trivandrum. Alappuzha Beach

Alappuzha beach is a lovely white sand beach on Arabian Sea. As you will see, the beach is lined with dense palm groves at one end. Historically speaking, the bridge on the beach is close to 150 years and has a history of English and Portuguese colonial past. Kozhikode and Kappad Beach

Kozhikode, which is also known as Calicut, is one of the most beautiful and clean cities in India. It is famous for the long coastline and the beach. There are some good resorts in Kozhikode. About 20 Km or 15 miles from Kozhikode is the beautiful Kappad beach. This relatively small town has a historic importance. The Great Portuguese Explorer, Vasco da Gama landed here for the first time on 20th May 1498. When you visit Kozhikode, do not miss the Kappad Beach. You will still find a stone engraved at the place Vasco da Gama landed.

Kozhikode has an international airport of its own.

Kannur Beach

Kannur Beach is another famous Beach in Kerala. The road to Kannur (if you travel from Kozhikode or other places) will take you through some mountainous ghat roads. The Beach is quiet and peaceful.
