Arrival at Srinagar Airport.
Enjoy a Shikara Ride in evening on Dal Lake. Shikaras are small boats that you will find at the Dal Lake in in the heart of Srinagar. One of the most memorable experiences is to take such a boat ride in the evening, during sunset. The mountains at the backdrop provide the perfect ambience for one of the most romantic boat rides in your life.

Today after breakfast drive down to Gulmarg. Srinagar to Gulmarg is about 50Km or 35 miles and would take approx 2 hours.
In Summer you can enjoy some activities in Gulmarg like:
Golfing – Gulmarg Golf Course: One of the largest golf courses in the country, Gulmarg Golf Course has quickly emerged as a leading Indian golfing destination. Escape the summer heat and head over to enjoy the magnificent 18-hole, 72-par course like no other in the world.
Alpather Lake – At an altitude of over 4500 feet, the lake is the perfect setting for the perfect picnic. You can also enjoy horse riding, ridge climbing, trekking and many other outdoor activities in the summer months.
In Winter you can enjoy skiing and Gondola rides: Asia’s largest and highest and world’s second-largest and second highest cable car project, Gulmarg Gondola is the top attraction in Gulmarg. In fact, a Gulmarg tour without a ride on the popular cable car is considered incomplete. This must-do activity in Gulmarg is perfect for family vacationers, romantic couples as well as adventurers seeking to get to the top of the mountain for the best skiing experience (in winter). The scenic views of mountains and valleys during the cable car ride are also unforgettable and unmatched.
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam. Gulmarg to Pahalgam is about 140Km or 90 miles and would take around 4- 5 hours.
In the evening visit Chandanwari Glacier – This is at a distance of 15 KM from Pahalgam. It will take 30 minutes to reach Chandanwari. The road passes through old Pahalgam town with traditional Kashmiri houses. At your right side the gushes the gorgeous Lidder river. You will also find quite a few waterfalls on the way. This is the ideal spot for tourists to enjoy snow even in the end summer. Local made sledge is available here for skating over the ice.

After Breakfast today enjoy the various activities in Pahalgam.
Baisaran Valley, located just 5 kilometers away from Pahalgam, is one of them. It is famous for its picturesque beauty. The thick pine timberland that allows the green-cover look to the dale gives a breaking glow to snow-capped peaks. The best way to enjoy this place is to take a pony ride to this place. During the pony ride, apart from Baisaran Valley, you will also come across Kanimarg, Pahalgam Old Village, Kashmir Valley Point, Dabyan and Deon Valley Point.
Betaab Valley – The valley essentially got its name from a blockbuster Bollywood movie of the 80s by the same name. Beautifully surrounded by snow-clad mountains and dense vegetation, this valley is on the way to a popular cave shrine of Amarnath. The popular attractions near the valley include the lakes of Baisaran and Tullian, especially due to the crystal clear cold water flowing down from the snow-clad mountains.
After Lunch you can enjoy Aru Valley – Tourists are attracted towards it because of its lush meadows, pristine lakes and mountains. It also serves as a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake.It is an attractive tourist place to visit during your holidays in Kashmir not just for the gorgeous views, but for the various activities which you can enjoy here. During winters, when it’s covered with snow, it becomes a famous destination for skiing and heli skiing.

After breakfast drive to Sonmarg. Pahalgam to Sonmarg is about 165Km or 105 miles and would take approx 5 hours.
Sonmarg – The ‘Meadow of Gold,’ Sonmarg with its beautiful settings attracts nature lovers from far and wide. Sonmarg’s major attractions are the majestic Thajiwas Glacier and lush green meadows and the gurgling Sindhu River. Baltal, the base camp of Amarnath and Naranag Village are some of the top attractions & things to do in Sonmarg.
Some activities you can enjoy in Sonmarg are visit the various lakes like Baltal, Nilalgrad river, incase you start early from Pahalgam you can also enjoy river rafting in Baltal.

After breakfast drive to Srinagar. Sonmarg to Srinagar is about 80Km or 50 miles and would take approx 3 hours.
After breakfast take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier – Thajiwas Glacier is Located at an altitude of 9,186 feet at a short distance from Sonmarg is enormous and blessed with magnificent beauty. Overlooked by the Thajiwas mountain and surrounded by meadows, conifer trees and frozen lakes, it is one of the most beautiful sights you will ever come across. Tourists visit Thajiwas Glacier for enjoying its breathtaking sights, building snowmen and enjoying a sledding ride.
Post visitng the Thajiwas Glacier drive back to Srinagar.
In the evening you can see the Mughal Gardens in Srinagar. There are three main Mughal Gardens all are spread around the Dal Lake. They are:
Shalimar Bagh Mughal Garden – It is a perfect blend of artificial structures and natural marvels. The whole premise of the garden has been beautifully carpeted with green grass. The garden has umpteen varieties of colorful flowers as well as tall trees of walnuts and almonds.
Nishat Bagh – It is 12 layered terraced garden packed with green trees, scented flowers, and beautiful fountains. With the majestic Zabarwan Mountains forming its backdrop, Nishant Bagh makes for one of the most scenic places to visit in Srinagar and attracts a huge number of photographers.
Chashmeshahi – Famous for its natural spring, it is again a 3 layered terraced garden showcasing persian style architecture. Tourists visit this attraction in Srinagar to drink the water from the spring which is believed to have medicinal properties. It is to be noted, even in the peak summer season, the water from the spring is always cold. You can also enjoy shopping in Srinagar – It has a lot of things one can shop for whether its handicrafts, pashmina shawls, carpets,traditional jewelry, paper mache products,wood carving objects, silver ware, dry fruits (especially walnuts) and Kashmiri WIllow bats.
