Said to be an extinct volcano, the Gun Hill is the second-highest point in Mussoorie. Being the highest point in the area, Lal Tibba is one of the most stunning viewpoints in the region. Lal Tibba affords breathtaking views of Nilkantha peak (6,596 meters) in Badrinath, Kedarnath peak (6,940 meters). It is also a popular sunrise and sunset point.
