Day 2Delhi to Agra – Mughal Heritage and Taj Mahal at Sunset

After breakfast, drive from Delhi to Agra, a journey of around 4 to 5 hours. On arrival, visit Agra Fort, the vast red-sandstone residence of the Mughal emperors, with its royal halls, courtyards and palaces.
 
Later, see Itmad-ud-Daula, often called the Baby Taj. Its delicate marble inlay and intimate scale offer a graceful contrast to the grand monuments of Agra.
 
End the day at the Taj Mahal at sunset, when the changing light brings a warm glow to its white marble façade.

Day 3Agra to Jaipur – Taj Mahal at Sunrise, Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori

Begin early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, when the monument is at its most peaceful. After breakfast, leave Agra for Jaipur.
 
En route, explore Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s beautifully preserved former capital, built in red sandstone. Continue to Chand Baori, the striking 1,000-year-old stepwell at Abhaneri, before arriving in Jaipur.

Day 4Jaipur – Amer Fort, Stepwells and Rajput Creations

Begin with Amer Fort, known for its grand gateways, royal courtyards and the intricate mirrorwork of the Sheesh Mahal. Continue to Panna Meena Ka Kund, a beautifully designed historic stepwell.
 
Visit an ethical elephant sanctuary, where you can observe the animals respectfully in their natural surroundings. Later, see the finely carved cenotaphs of Gatore Ki Chhatriyan and pause at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace set in Man Sagar Lake.

Day 5Jaipur – Leopard Safari, City Palace and Departure

Begin with an early guided safari at Jhalana Leopard Sanctuary, a protected urban wilderness known for leopards, birds and other wildlife. Sightings are never guaranteed, but the experience offers a distinctive side of Jaipur.
 
Continue to the City Palace, still partly home to Jaipur’s royal family, then visit Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar, the remarkable astronomical observatory.
 
Later, enjoy a Jaipur heritage walk and see the vibrant Patrika Gate. You will then be transferred to Jaipur Airport for your onward journey.
