You can visit a few places in Delhi before lunch, like the Red Fort.
The Red Fort : The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperors in India for centuries. Because of the red colour of the red sandstone, the monument gets its name. The Red Fort is a representation of the cultural, political and architectural majesty of the Mughal Empire inking the Indian historical landscape.
After lunch proceed towards Agra for the Taj Mahal 7 Wonders of the World. It is about 250 km or 155 miles and is covered in 5 – 6 hours.
By the time you would reach Agra, it would be late evening. Then you can check-in to the hotel.Tomorrow morning you are going to witness Taj Mahal 7 Wonders of the World.
Today before breakfast in Agra, you can visit the Taj Mahal.
The Taj Mahal: Taj Mahal 7 Wonders of the World is a Mughal mausoleum of white marble with phenomenal beauty. When it’s relatively quiet and less crowded early in the morning, you should visit this place. Thus, you will experience its ethereal beauty.
After the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and visit the Fort Agra.
The Agra Fort or the Red Fort Agra is a massive fort, which was the royal residence of Mughal emperors. This red coloured huge fort is also known as Lal Quila or the Red Fort for the red sandstone. In fact, it was the capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar for a few years in the 16th century. It is also a symbol of power and strength which stands today in full glory.
Before sunset, visit the Mehtab Bagh. As you would notice, this crescent-shaped garden is built along the River Yamuna on the opposite bank of the river Yamuna. Due to its location it is considered to be the ultimate spot for viewing the Taj Mahal 7 Wonders of the World during sunset.
Late in the evening you may return back to Mehtab Bagh to catch the sight of the Taj Mahal. This is one of the most gorgeous sight. With the river Yamuna between the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh, the stunning reflection of the Taj Mahal 7 Wonders of the World makes the moment worth dying for.
Check-out from the hotel , proceed towards Jaipur with halt in Keoladeo National Park. The Keoladeo National Park is the biggest and most famous bird sanctuary, providing the hunting ground for the kings of bygone days.
Agra to Keoladeo National Park is about 55 km or 35 miles and takes about 1-2 hours.
On reaching Keoladeo National Park, a certified guide, who will take you around the place, will greet you. As you go past the trees and the marshy land, you will witness different migratory birds which are found in huge numbers here. It is due to Keoladeo National Park strategic position on the north-south avian route of India that you will find so many migratory birds. The Keoladeo National Park is a feast to your eyes and ears. The colourful birds and their tweets are bound to make your experience a memorable one.
After spending a couple of hours in this bird sanctuary , continue driving towards Jaipur. Keoladeo National Park to Jaipur is about 190 km or 120 miles and takes around 4 – 5 hours.
In Jaipur the evening proceed towards Chokhi Dhani. It is an artificial rural Indian village where you can enjoy doing pottery, elephant and camel rides and other fun activities. When in Chokhi Dhani, do not miss the traditional dinner at Chokhi Dhani.
After breakfast, you may visit the different forts and palaces in Jaipur.
Amber Fort, also known as Amer Fort : Amer Fort was Constructed of red sandstone and marble, the attractive, this opulent palace is laid out on four levels, each with a courtyard. Located high on a hill, Amer Fort is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. It was the main residence of the celebrated Rajput kings and their families. Amer Fort is famed for its architectural brilliance. You can take an elephant ride, which takes you to the entrance of the Amer Fort.
Sheesh Mahal: It is located inside Amber Fort. The beauty of this palace lies in the fact that even if a small ray of light enters, it naturally lights up the whole palace. And all this while reflecting in all the other mirrors.
Hawa Mahal : Hawa Mahal is a marvelous architecture is constructed of red and pink sandstone. The Hawa Mahal palace was built for the royal women to get a glimpse of the daily events. Apart from the daily events, they would also watch the royal processions and festivals from the messed walls of the Hawa Mahal. You may also visit the market area around Hawa Mahal.
City Palace of Jaipur: The City Palace of Jaipur was established at the same time as the city of Jaipur, by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber, in 1727. This was built as a residence for the royal families. The palace has a sequence of gardens, buildings, courtyards, temples and museums, which gives it a grand view and reflects the historical importance and magnificent royal grace.
Today you can visit the following places in Jaipur before we drop you to the airport (depends on flight time).
Jantar Mantar : It is an astronomical observatory, which comprises of 19 instruments. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world’s largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you walk into, you would see that the instruments measure the position and distances of astronomical bodies.
Jal Mahal: Jal Mahal (meaning “Water Palace”) is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. From here you get a picturesque view of the Nahargarh mountain ranges and the surrounding lake waters. You can go for an exciting boating ride on the lake. Indeed, it is a memorable experience.
The Birla Mandir Jaipur: The Birla Mandir Jaipur, also known as the Lakshmi Narayan Temple is a Hindu temple located in Jaipur. It was built by the B.M. Birla Foundation in 1988 and is constructed solely of white marble. The Birla Mandir Jaipur is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu (Narayan). It is located in Jaipur’s Tilak Nagar neighborhood near Moti Dungari hill. The Birla Mandir Jaipur is open daily with visiting hours between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, as well as between 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
