No wonder, the temple has won several awards and recognitions for its style of building.

Red Fort : The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperors in India for centuries. Because of the red colour of the red sandstone, the monument gets its name. It is a representation of the cultural, political and architectural majesty of the Mughal Empire inking the Indian historical landscape.

India Gate : This is one of the most iconic war memorials in the country. This landmark in Delhi commemorates the members of the erstwhile British Indian Army who sacrificed their lives fighting in the World War.You can also go for boating at the Boating Club adjacent to India Gate grounds.

Day 2Delhi to Agra

After breakfast in the morning, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards Agra. It is about 250 km or 155 miles and is covered in 5 – 6 hours.
Agra is the second destination of the india golden triangle private tour in your India trip.

By the time you would reach Agra, it would be post lunch time. Then you can check-in to the hotel.

Before sunset, visit the Mehtab Bagh of Agra. As you would notice, this crescent-shaped garden is built along the River Yamuna on the opposite bank of the river Yamuna. Due to its location it is considered to be the ultimate spot for viewing the Taj Mahal during sunset.

Late in the evening you may return back to Mehtab Bagh to catch the sight of the Taj Mahal. This is one of the most gorgeous sight. With the river Yamuna between the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh, the stunning reflection of the Taj Mahal makes the moment worth dying for. Stay for about 3-40 mins or may be more. You could have also gone to see the light and sound show at Fort Agra, but the view of Taj Mahal at night in Agra might be a better option.

Return to your hotel.

As you would recollect, the day before was the gorgeous Indian Lotus Temple. Today you got the first sight of the Taj Mahal. The next day would be Fatehpur Sikri, followed by Amber Fort, Jaipur Palace and much more in Jaipur.

Day 3Agra to Jaipur

Today before breakfast in Agra, you can visit the Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal: It is a Mughal mausoleum of white marble with phenomenal beauty. When it’s relatively quiet and less crowded early in the morning, you should visit this place. Thus, you will experience its ethereal beauty.

After the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and visit the Fort Agra.

The Fort Agra or Agra Fort is a massive fort, which was the royal residence of Mughal emperors. This red coloured huge fort is also known as Lal Quila for the red sandstone. In fact, it was the capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar for a few years in the 16th century. It is also a symbol of power and strength which stands today in full glory.

After that, you may proceed towards Jaipur. It is about 240 km or 150 Miles and takes around 6-7 hours. Jaipur is the next destination of your Golden Triangle India.

You can also go first from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri. The majestic Fatehpur Sikri fort is also worth seeing for the grand structures. Agra to Fatehpur Sikri is around 40 Km or 25 miles and takes about an hour. Fatehpur Sikri is glowing red when you visit during the day.

On reaching Jaipur, check-in at the hotel and freshen up.

In the evening proceed towards Chokhi Dhani. It is an artificial rural Indian village where you can enjoy doing pottery, elephant and camel rides and other fun activities. When in Chokhi Dhani, do not miss the traditional dinner at Chokhi Dhani.

After dinner at Chokhi Dhani, return to your hotel. Next day you will visit Amber Fort, Jaipur Palace and much more.

Day 4Jaipur Sightseeing Before Lunch

The fort is famed for its architectural brilliance.  You can take an elephant ride, which takes you to the entrance of the Amber Fort.

Sheesh Mahal: It is located inside Amber Fort. The beauty of this palace lies in the fact that even if a small ray of light enters, it naturally lights up the whole palace. And all this while reflecting in all the other mirrors.

Hawa Mahal : This marvelous architecture is constructed of red and pink sandstone. This palace was built for the royal women to get a glimpse of the daily events. Apart from the daily events, they would also watch the royal processions and festivals.

Jaipur Palace: The Jaipur Palace was established at the same time as the city of Jaipur, by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber, in 1727. This was built as a residence for the royal families. The Jaipur palace has a sequence of gardens, buildings, courtyards, temples and museums, which gives it a grand view and reflects the historical importance and magnificent royal grace.

Day 4Jaipur Sightseeing After Lunch

Jantar Mantar : It is an astronomical observatory, which comprises of 19 instruments. The monument was completed in 1734.
