NAKKI LAKE

Amidst the green Aravali hills lies the beautiful yet shimmering Nakki Lake. Believed to have been dug out by the Gods themselves, the clear blue water of the lake turns into amazing shades under the changing sky. Mahatma Gandhi’s (Freedom fighter ) ashes were immersed in this lake leading to the construction of Gandhi Ghat.. As you sail through the serene waters of Nakki Lake, it is exciting to see the life of Mount Abu unfolding in front of you. Don’t miss the boating at Nakki Lake.

DILWARA TEMPLES

This temple is renowned for the opulent use of marble and intricate carvings on every hook and corner. The ornamental cravings and the flawless stone laying technique makes it one of the most beautiful pilgrimage spots. The temple complex consists of 5 temples which are unique to Jain culture in India. If one wants to soak themselves in religious spirits, then they should not miss an excursion to this temple on their tour to Mount Abu.

GURU SHIKHAR

Guru Shikhar is the highest peak of the Aravalli Range and lies about 15 kilometers from Mount Abu. Offering breathtaking panoramic vistas of the surrounding region, While here, one can also visit the famous temple of Guru Dattatreya, who was believed to be an incarnation of the Hindu deities Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, all in one.

MOUNT ABU WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

A popular destination for ecotourism and home to leopards, the ferocious feline predators, this subtropical paradise is known for its huge variety of flora and fauna. ACHALGARH VILLAGE

Achalgarh village is a picturesque village in Mount Abu which is famous for the Achalgarh fort and Achleshwar temple.The AchalGarh fort is encompassed by monstrous parapet dividers. It is arranged at the highest point of a mountain crest and offers pleasant perspectives lasting through the year. . Within the fort lies the Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple. In the center of Achaleshwar Mahadev there is a sculptured image of Nandi (the white bull on which Lord Shiva rides) which is made of 5 metals (bronze, gold, zinc, copper & brass).

SUNSET POINT

A mesmerizing viewpoint near Nakki lake has all the pleasures of the world packed and delivered to your heart .The place offers unprecedented views of the gorgeous hills kissed with the radiating rays of the Sun. Treat your eyes with the site of orange-colored sun setting behind the Aravali Ranges.From Sunset Point, tourists can also go to Bailey’s Walk.

TREVOR’S TANK

This tank is presently being used by the authorities for crocodile breeding, as a wildlife conservation project. Apart from being a breeding ground and home to these deadly reptiles, the park is also a heaven for birdwatchers. The place is frequented by birdwatchers for spotting pigeons, peacocks and partridges.Trevor’s Tank, or Trevor’s Crocodile Park also houses various other animals than crocodiles which obviously dominate the park.
