Day 1Arrival in Delhi

Once you arrive in Delhi, we will pick you up from the airport. Then you can check-in to the hotel and freshen up.
Delhi is the first stop for the Golden Triangle Tour

Post lunch you may visit the following places —

Lotus Temple : It is a prominent attraction in the city, which is famous for its unique lotus structure. As you will see, around the blooming petals there are nine pools of water. These petals light up in natural light and looks spectacular at dusk when it is floodlit. No wonder, the temple has won several awards and recognitions for its style of building.

Red Fort : The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperors in India for centuries. Because of the red colour of the red sandstone, the monument gets its name. It is a representation of the cultural, political and architectural majesty of the Mughal Empire inking the Indian historical landscape.

India Gate : This is one of the most iconic war memorials in the country. This landmark in Delhi commemorates the members of the erstwhile British Indian Army who sacrificed their lives fighting in the World War.You can also go for boating at the Boating Club adjacent to India Gate grounds.

Humayun Tomb : This is an excellent example of Persian architecture,This tomb was the first of its kind to be built in garden style which is divided into four parts by pathways and waterways.

At days’ end, return to the hotel.

Day 2Delhi to Agra

After breakfast in the morning, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards Agra. It is about 250 km or 155 miles and is covered in 5 – 6 hours.
Agra is the second destination of the India golden triangle private tour in your India trip.

By the time you would reach Agra, it would be post lunch time. Then you can check-in to the hotel.

Before sunset, visit the Mehtab Bagh of Agra. As you would notice, this crescent-shaped garden is built along the River Yamuna on the opposite bank of the river Yamuna. Due to its location it is considered to be the ultimate spot for viewing the Taj Mahal during sunset.

Late in the evening you may return back to Mehtab Bagh to catch the sight of the Taj Mahal. This is one of the most gorgeous sight. With the river Yamuna between the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh, the stunning reflection of the Taj Mahal makes the moment worth dying for. Stay for about 3-40 mins or may be more. You could have also gone to see the light and sound show at Fort Agra, but the view of Taj Mahal at night in Agra might be a better option.

Return to your hotel. Next day the plan is to go from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri and then proceed towards Jaipur after visiting the places in Agra. Agra to Fatehpur Sikri is around 40 KM or 25 miles and is on the Agra-Jaipur route.

Day 3Agra to Jaipur

Today before breakfast in Agra, you can visit the Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal: It is a Mughal mausoleum of white marble with phenomenal beauty. When it’s relatively quiet and less crowded early in the morning, you should visit this place. Thus, you will experience its ethereal beauty.

After the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and visit the Fort Agra.

The Fort Agra or Agra Fort is a massive fort, which was the royal residence of Mughal emperors. This red coloured huge fort is also known as Lal Quila for the red sandstone. In fact, it was the capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar for a few years in the 16th century. It is also a symbol of power and strength which stands today in full glory.

After that, you may proceed towards Jaipur. It is about 240 km or 150 Miles and takes around 6-7 hours. Jaipur is the next destination of your Golden Triangle Tour.

You can also go first from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri. This majestic fort is also worth seeing for the grand structures. Agra to Fatehpur Sikri is around 40 Km or 25 miles and takes about an hour.

On reaching Jaipur, check-in at the hotel and freshen up.

In the evening proceed towards Chokhi Dhani. It is an artificial rural Indian village where you can enjoy doing pottery, elephant and camel rides and other fun activities. When in Chokhi Dhani, do not miss the traditional dinner at Chokhi Dhani.

After dinner at Chokhi Dhani, return to your hotel. Next day you will visit Jaipur. Amer Fort and City Palace of Jaipur, Jal mahal and Hawa Mahal Jaipur are some of the gorgeous ones that you should never miss.

Day 4Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, you may visit the different forts and palaces in Jaipur. While Agra was mainly about Taj Mahal, there are lots to see in Jaipur India. As you visit you will realise, these are some of the best architectures in Jaipur India.

Amber Fort, also known as Amer Fort : Constructed of red sandstone and marble, the attractive, this opulent palace is laid out on four levels, each with a courtyard. Located high on a hill, it is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. It was the main residence of the celebrated Rajput kings and their families. The fort is famed for its architectural brilliance.  You can take an elephant ride, which takes you to the entrance of the Amber Fort. 

Sheesh Mahal: It is located inside Amber Fort. The beauty of this palace lies in the fact that even if a small ray of light enters, it naturally lights up the whole palace. And all this while reflecting in all the other mirrors.

Hawa Mahal : Hawa Mahal is a marvelous architecture is constructed of red and pink sandstone. The Hawa Mahal palace was built for the royal women to get a glimpse of the daily events. Apart from the daily events, they would also watch the royal processions and festivals from the messed walls of the Hawa Mahal. You may also visit the market area around Hawa Mahal.

City Palace of Jaipur: The City Palace of Jaipur was established at the same time as the city of Jaipur, by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber, in 1727. This was built as a residence for the royal families. The palace has a sequence of gardens, buildings, courtyards, temples and museums, which gives it a grand view and reflects the historical importance and magnificent royal grace.

Day 5Jaipur to Varanasi

Today you can visit the following places in Jaipur before we drop you to the airport (depends on flight time).

Jantar Mantar : It is an astronomical observatory, which comprises of 19 instruments. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world’s largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you walk into, you would see that the instruments measure the position and distances of astronomical bodies.

Jal Mahal: Jal Mahal (meaning “Water Palace”) is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. From here you get a picturesque view of the Nahargarh mountain ranges and the surrounding lake waters. You can go for an exciting boating ride on the lake. Indeed, it is a memorable experience.

Once in Varanasi, we will pick you up from the airport. You may check in to the hotel in the evening.

Nahargarh Fort: Nahargarh Fort stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking the city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Located in one of the oldest mountain ranges of the world, the Aravalli Hills, this fort was built for defense purpose and showcases breathtaking views of the city. Along with Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh once formed a strong defense ring for the city.

Day 6Varanasi and Sarnath Sightseeing

Early morning undertake the boat ride on the holy river Ganga and observe the religious rituals being conducted on the ghats of Varanasi.

Next, you may take a heritage walk, observe the daily life of natives on the streets of Varanasi. Explore some famous temples and ghats like Kashi Vishwanath, Nepali temple ,Manikarnika Ghat , Durga devi temple.

Today post breakfast you may visit the following places :

Sarnath : One of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in India. Here you will get a glimpse of Buddhist architecture and culture contributing to the spiritual significance of Sarnath. Also it this place holds some spiritual importance as Lord Buddha came to give his first sermon.

Drive back to Varanasi post lunch. On your way back you may visit the weavers village. This tour will take you to Varanasi’s village life, where you can interact with the village folks and get to know the craftsmanship of the weavers with their distinct design. You will see the finest banarasi sarees with gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk and opulent embroidery are made here by these weavers .

In the evening, witness the major attraction of Varanasi – The grand Aarti ceremony performed by several priests on the banks of river Ganga. You will get to hear the majestic blended sound of sanskrit mantras, drums, bells and cymbals.

Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 7Depart Varanasi

Check-out from the hotel post breakfast .

Drop at the airport, depart Varanasi.
