Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Jaipur and explore the Pink City

Arrive Jaipur , our driver will pick you from the airport. Get transferred to the hotel and freshen up.

Post lunch you can visit a few places –

Jaipur City Palace : This was built as a residence for the royal families. The palace has a sequence of gardens, buildings, courtyards, temples and museums. It gives a grand view and reflects the historical importance and magnificent royal grace.

Jantar Mantar : It is an astronomical observatory, which comprises of 19 instruments. As you walk into, you would see that the instruments measure the position and distances of astronomical bodies.

The famous Elephantastic : This is an elephant farm, where you can play and have a fun time with the elephants. It is a very popular place with foreigners, where adults and kids have a great time.

You can explore some colourful local markets of Jaipur. There are undoubtedly some remarkable shopping places which can enrich your total shopping experience tenfold.

In the evening proceed towards Chokhi Dhani. It is an artificial rural Indian village where you can enjoy doing pottery, elephant and camel rides and other fun activities. When in Chokhi Dhani, do not miss the traditional dinner at Chokhi Dhani.

Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2Forts and Palaces of Jaipur : Before Lunch

Today you may visit different forts and palaces in Jaipur. These are some of the best architectures in Rajasthan India.

Amber Fort (Amer) : The fort is famed for its architectural brilliance. It showcases the grandeur of the Maharajas’ lives. You can take an elephant ride, which takes you to the entrance of the Amber Fort. The ride up the steep slope is definitely worth.

Sheesh Mahal : It is located inside Amber Fort. The beauty of this palace lies in the fact that even if a small ray of light enters, it naturally lights up the whole palace. And all this while reflecting in all the other mirrors.

Hawa Mahal: This marvelous architecture is constructed of red and pink sandstone. The royal women used to get a glimpse of the daily events, royal processions, and festivals from here.

Jal Mahal : This exquisite palace is built in the middle of a lake. From here you get a picturesque view of the Nahargarh mountain ranges and the surrounding lake waters. You can go for an exciting boat ride on the lake. Indeed, it is a memorable experience.

Jaipur City Palace : The royal families used to live here. The palace has a sequence of gardens, buildings, courtyards, temples and museums, which gives it a grand view and reflects the historical importance and magnificent royal grace.

Day 2Forts and Palaces of Jaipur: After Lunch

Nahargarh Fort : Located in one of the oldest mountain ranges of the world, the Aravalli Hills, this fort was built for defense purpose and showcases breathtaking views of the city.

Wax Museum : Located in the premises of Fort Nahargarh, it is one of a kind museum which showcases wax and silicon statues of various celebrities who have contributed well for the society.

Jantar Mantar : It is an astronomical observatory, which comprises of 19 instruments. As you walk into, you would see that the instruments measure the position and distances of astronomical bodies.

At days’ end, return to the hotel.

Day 3Jaipur to Udaipur

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards Udaipur. The distance of about 400 km / 250 miles would take around 10 – 12 hours, with breaks in between.

Once you reach Udaipur, check-in the hotel.

Day 4Udaipur local Sightseeing

Today post breakfast you may visit the following places –

Lake Palace Udaipur: This palace is a fusion of Rajasthani, Chinese, European and Mughal architecture. The beautiful appeal of marble-work , silver-work, mirror-work and wall paintings makes it one of the most alluring factors of Udaipur. The Palace complex comprises of 11 small palaces, courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens.

Crystal Gallery : The crystal gallery, which is located inside City Palace, is one of the most luminous attractions for tourists. It showcases the rare and precious crystal from the royal treasure. This Gallery has been hailed as the single largest private collection of crystal in the world. The collection includes objects like bed, glasses, dinner sets and many more to the list.

Lake Pichola : The lake is world famous for its picturesque beauty and scenic backdrop of the Aravalli Hills. In the evening, you can take a boat ride on pristine blue waters of the lake Pichola. With the Aravalli hills on one side and the city palace on the other, this is one of the most romantic boat rides.

Bagore ki Haveli : A massive structure with incredible architecture and excellent glasswork. It has more than 100 rooms displaying traditional costumes , modern art and rajasthani paintings. The haveli is lighted in the evening with colorful hues and several performances including traditional dance and music organized to exhibit the Rajasthani culture and tradition.

At days’ end, return to the hotel.

Day 5Udaipur to Jodhpur

Check-out from the hotel after breakfast.

Visit Vintage Car Museum. This museum has a collection of some of the rarest classic and vintage cars. Once you are inside, you can watch all the grandeur and collection of the kings of Rajasthan. In this museum you will see an impressive collection of cars which includes the Rolls Royce Phantom, Cadillac, Mercedes and Aston Martin.

Proceed towards Jodhpur. The distance of 250 km / 150 miles will be covered in 8 – 9 hours, with a halt in Kumbhalgarh Fort.

Kumbhalgarh Fort : The fort that is the second largest wall after the Great Wall of China. It is also a UNESCO Heritage Site. It protects 13 mountain peaks of the Aravallis. The fort area encompasses various important structures like palaces, courtyards and much more. It also has more than 360 Brahmanical and Jain temples dotting the structure.

You would reach Jodhpur by evening.

If you have time and not too tired, take a walk to some nearby local places.

Ghanta Ghar : It is a clock-tower, a popular landmark in Jodhpur, which is in the heart of the city. It is known for its great style of architecture. This few-storey tower is beautifully lit in the evening, which adds to its overall appeal.

Sadar Market : This market is just beside the clock tower. As you shop around, you will notice it is home to more than a thousand small shops. You will find that the shops sell a variety of products at quite a reasonable price. This bustling market is popular for selling spices, handicrafts, tea, sweets, jewellery and much more.

At days’ end, return to the hotel.

Day 6Jodhpur Local Sightseeing

Today you may visit the following places :

Mehrangarh Fort : It is one of the largest and splendid forts of India perched upon a hill. This fort speaks volumes about the rich heritage and glorious past of India.

Jaswant Thada : Popularly referred to as the “Taj Mahal of Marwar”, this structure is an epitome of a Rajputana style of architecture. The monument is made of white marbles which are so fine that the outer surface of the whole building emits a warm glow during sunlight.

Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum : It is considered as one of the largest residential palaces in the world with masterpiece of brilliant architecture. The museum of this palace is a popular attraction which has a huge collection of weapons, a banner presented by Queen Victoria and amazing clocks providing detailed information about the royal era of Rajasthan India.

At days’ end, return to the hotel.

Day 7Jodhpur to Cochin

Check-out from the hotel post breakfast , proceed towards the airport and take the flight to Cochin.

On reaching, our driver will pick you from the airport and get transferred to the hotel.

Spend the evening in Fort Cochin area and visit a few local places.

Chinese Fishing Net : A must visit attraction in Kerala.These fishing nets have fixed land installations, which are used for a very unique and unusual method of fishing. The sunset at the backdrop of the Chinese Fishing net is worth watching.

Cochin Marine Drive : An amazing walkaway that is adorned with city’s glittery backwaters. At night, the great Rainbow Bridge comes to life with vibrant lights and viewing it at this time is highly recommended.

Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 8Cochin to Kumarakom Houseboat

Check-out from the hotel post breakfast and proceed towards the luxury houseboat to reach there around 11 am. (50 km / 30 miles / 2-3 hours )

Take a relaxing ride on the calm, green backwaters of Kerala. A ride on the houseboat is the most stunning experience you could ever float into. You would go past the villages, lotus plants, birds, small lagoons, etc.

Enjoy freshly cooked Kerala cuisine as you meander through the backwaters.

Sip a hot cup of coffee in the evening and some light snacks as you watch the romantic sunset

Enjoy dinner in the Houseboat.

Overnight stay in Houseboat.

Day 9Kumarakom to Trivandrum

Enjoy an authentic Kerala breakfast as the houseboat makes the last rounds through the backwaters.

Proceed towards Trivandrum. (175 km / 110 miles / 4-5 hours)

On reaching , check-in the resort and freshen up.

Post lunch you can visit a few places –

Kovalam Beach : A magnificent beach bordered with fertile coconut trees which offers a great ambience to the tourists where they can unwind.

Poovar Backwater Cruise : The cruise begins from our jetty at 4.30pm and moves to different locations through Poovar lake and it covers fishing villages, estuaries, mangroves, golden sanded beach etc. Watch the beautiful sunsets from the cruise which is an absolutely breathtaking experience.

Day 10Day Trip to Varkala

Post breakfast drive down to Varkala. ( 55 km / 35 miles / 2hrs)

Varkala Beach : This beach has a stunning beauty of landscapes, brown sand, and sea. Most of the tourists in Kerala prefer going to the Varkala beach owing to its serene and tranquil environment. It offers many activities like sightseeing, sunbathing, windsurfing, parasailing and soaking in the beauty of the calm beach.

Varkala Lighthouse : Watch the stunning panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and Kerala’s stunning landscape.

Kappil beach : This beach is known to be one of the best kept secrets of Kerala with a huge stretch of golden sands, enclosed by the glittering waters of the Arabian Sea and thick groves of casuarinas trees, make this place delightful spot. The beach looks phenomenal and the moment is captivating !

You can also do boating in the Kappil Lake in the evening.

Drive back to Trivandrum , Overnight stay in the Resort

Day 11Depart Trivandrum

Check-out from resort post breakfast.

Spend some time on the beach.

Post Lunch proceed towards airport. Take the flight back to your destination.
