Day 1Arrival in Jaipur

Once you arrive at the airport, our driver will pick you up. Then you can check-in at the hotel and freshen up.

In the evening proceed towards Chokhi Dhani. It is an artificial rural Indian village where you can enjoy doing pottery, elephant and camel rides and other fun activities. When in Chokhi Dhani, do not miss the traditional dinner at Chokhi Dhani.

After dinner at Chokhi Dhani, return to your hotel.

Day 2Jaipur Before Lunch

After breakfast, you may check-out from the hotel. Then you can visit the different forts and palaces in Jaipur. 

Amer Fort: Constructed of red sandstone and marble, the attractive, this opulent palace is laid out on four levels, each with a courtyard. Located high on a hill, it is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. It was the main residence of the celebrated Rajput kings and their families. The fort is famed for its architectural brilliance.  You can take an elephant ride, which takes you to the entrance of the Amber Fort. 

Sheesh Mahal: It is located inside Amber Fort. The beauty of this palace lies in the fact that even if a small ray of light enters, it naturally lights up the whole palace. And all this while reflecting in all the other mirrors.

Hawa Mahal : This marvelous architecture is constructed of red and pink sandstone. This palace was built for the royal women to get a glimpse of the daily events. Apart from the daily events, they would also watch the royal processions and festivals.

Jaipur City Palace: The Jaipur Palace was established at the same time as the city of Jaipur, by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber, in 1727. This was built as a residence for the royal families. The Jaipur palace has a sequence of gardens, buildings, courtyards, temples and museums, which gives it a grand view and reflects the historical importance and magnificent royal grace.

Day 2Jaipur after Lunch

After lunch you can visit the following places:

Jantar Mantar : It is an astronomical observatory, which comprises of 19 instruments. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world’s largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you walk into, you would see that the instruments measure the position and distances of astronomical bodies.

Jal Mahal: Jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. From here you get a picturesque view of the Nahargarh mountain ranges and the surrounding lake waters. You can go for an exciting boating ride on the lake. Indeed, it is a memorable experience.

Nahargarh Fort: Nahargarh Fort stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking the city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Located in one of the oldest mountain ranges of the world, the Aravalli Hills, this fort was built for defense purpose and showcases breathtaking views of the city. Along with Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh once formed a strong defense ring for the city.

Wax Museum : Located in the premises of Fort Nahargarh, it is one of a kind museum which showcases wax and silicon statues of various celebrities who have contributed well for the society.

Return to your hotel in the evening.

Since there are so many things to see in Jaipur, you can also spend an extra day. Thus, you will not have to rush through. We will be happy to make the changes for you

Day 3Jaipur to Chittorgarh

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. En-route Chittorgarh for the Chittor Fort. Today is a long day o the road. The distance is about 360 Km/ 240 miles and , which is about 400 Km/ 300 miles and takes around 9 – 10 hours. Once you reach Chittorgarh, check into your hotel.

Day 4Chittor Fort. Towards Udaipur

After breakfast, you can visit the different Forts and Palaces in Chittorgarh.

The Chittor Fort or Chittorgarh: It is one of the largest forts in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort was the capital of Mewar and is located in the present-day town of Chittor. It sprawls over a hill 180 m (590.6 ft) in height spread over an area of 280 ha (691.9 acres) above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River. The fort precinct has several historical palaces, gates, temples and two prominent commemorative towers.

Rana Kumbha Palace: It is one of the most interesting places to visit in Chittorgarh fort. The massive proportions of the ruined edifice of the palace reveal what an imposing structure it was in the height of its glory. Rana Kumbha Palace is the largest monument in the Chittorgarh Fort and has a grand history attached to it.

After lunch, proceed towards Udaipur. It is at a distance of about 120 Km/80 miles and would take about 3 – 4 hours. Once you are in Udaipur, you may check into your hotel.

Day 5Udaipur Sightseeing

Today post breakfast you may visit the following places. These are some of the best places to see in Rajasthan India

City Palace of Udaipur: As a matter of fact, this palace is a fusion of Rajasthani, Chinese, European and Mughal architecture. The beautiful appeal of marble-work, silver-work, mirror-work, and wall paintings makes it one of the most alluring factors of Udaipur. The Palace complex, which comprises of 11 small palaces, courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms, and hanging gardens, is huge.

Crystal Gallery: The crystal gallery, which is located inside City Palace, is one of the most luminous attractions for tourists. As you would find, it showcases the rare and precious crystal from the royal treasure. The collection includes objects like bed, glasses, dinner sets and many more to the list.

Lake Pichola: The lake is world-famous for its picturesque beauty and scenic backdrop of the Aravalli Hills. In the evening, you can take a boat ride in Lake Pichola. With the Aravalli hills on one side and the city palace on the other, this is one of the most romantic boat rides. 

Jag Mandir Palace: It is an exquisite palace that looks like a floating marble structure in a lake is a sight to behold as one visits the alluring Lake Pichola. As you will see, one of the striking features of this palace is the life-size elephants made of marbles which guard the palace.

Bagore ki Haveli : A massive structure with incredible architecture and excellent glasswork, which has more than 100 rooms displaying traditional costumes , modern art and rajasthani paintings. You can watch several performances including traditional dance and music organized here. No wonder, it is one of the grandest exhibition of Rajasthan tourism, culture and tradition.

After the sightseeing, return to the hotel.

Day 6Udaipur to Jodhpur via Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Temple

After breakfast, proceed towards Jodhpur. If you want to go directly from Udaipur to Jodhpur, the distance is about 250 Km or 175 miles and would take about 7-8 hours. However, there are two very interesting things to see on the way. You may have to take a small detours, but they are worth visiting – Kumbhalgarh Fort Ranakpur Temple.

Kumbhalgarh Fort: It is the second largest fort in the world after the Chittor Fort. In fact. it is the second largest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend a few hours in the Kumbhalgarh Fort, which overlooks the gorgeous Aravalli Hills. It protects 13 mountain peaks of the Aravallis. The fort area, which encompasses various important structures like palaces, courtyards, is a gigantic place. It also has more than 360 Brahmanical and Jain temples dotting the structure.

Ranakpur Jain Temple: It was built in the 15th century and has a significant historical importance around the place. Visit the place for the exquisite work of art on the walls and ceilings of the temple, because it is sure to leave you spell-bound.

Once you reach Jodhpur in the evening, check into your hotel.

Day 7Jodhpur SightSeeing

After Breakfast, you can visit the Forts and Palaces in Jodhpur:

Mehrangarh Fort: It is one of the largest forts in India, which was built in around 1459. In fact, the fort is situated 410 feet (125 m) above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. As you will find, inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards. The museum exhibits the arms, costumes, paintings and decorated antiques. Especially you should visit one section of the fort museum, which has a selection of old royal palanquins, including the elaborate domed gilt Mahadol palanquin.

Umaid Bhawan Palace: It is one of the world’s largest private residences. The palace, which has 347 rooms, is the principal residence of the former Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace is a museum, while the Taj Group of Hotels manages the rest.

The Jaswant Thada: It is a cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. In fact, it serves as the cremation ground for the royal Rajput family of Marwar. The mausoleum is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble. You should visit the cenotaph’s grounds, which feature carved gazebos, a tiered garden.

Saradar Market and the Clock Tower: The Sardar Market is the largest and most famous market or “bazaar” of Rajasthan. You can buy a lot of local things from this place. It is a very colorful place. So, if you are into photography you would get some good clicks for sure! At the centre of the market is the Ghanta Ghar or Clock Tower, which is a symbol of the city’s rich heritage and culture.

At day’s end, return to your hotel.

Day 8Return from Jodhpur

After breakfast, proceed towards the airport for your flight back. Since Jodhpur has limited flight option, you may choose a late evening flight from Jaipur too and we will be drop you to Jaipur airport. Jodhpur to Jaipur is about 320 Km or 210 miles and would take around 9 – 10 hours.
