The Assi and Manikarnika Ghat

The Assi Ghat is famous for Shiva Lingam under a tree. It is located in the south of the Varanasi. If you are looking for peace, you can spend hours here. Sarnath

While you are in Varanasi, you should keep at least half day for Sarnath. Sarnath is 10 km from Varanasi. It is one of the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage centers. It is believed that after attaining the Enlightenment at Bodh Gaya, it was here that Lord Buddha preached his first sermon.
